Viz-Art Automation launches Infinity iPad docking station

There is little doubt that the iPad has rapidly established itself as the control device of choice for many home automation customers, and Polish exhibitor Viz-Art Automation has responded to the trend with the launch of its Infinity wall-mount iPad docking station.

Created by interior designers, the company says, it is constructed from glass and lacquered steel (available in either black or white). Each unit is delivered complete with an original Apple cable and a built-in Lightning connector, so that the iPad can be easily removed with one hand, without having to disconnect the power manually.

The user can open the glass panel at any time to use the iPad separately; once the iPad is replaced in the station, it returns to a standard BMS control panel mode.

Viz-Art manufactures a wide variety of projector lifts, plasma lifts and electric screens as well as docking stations, primarily for consumer applications such as home cinema.

The company prides itself on the original design, functionality and durability of its screens and lifts, as well as on its attention to detail, which it says makes them ideally suited for prestige locations.
