Ultra-narrow-bezel LCD display

The new 55in LED backlit L-PH5523 LCD display from Vtron is claimed to have the industry’s narrowest bezel width (just 3.5mm), allowing the creation of videowalls with minimal intrusion from screen borders.

To ensure natural images, the display includes DNX Digital Natural Expression video processing technology that includes: improved de-interlacing (by looking ahead several frames to apply the optimal algorithm mix); the ability to eliminate low-angle jaggies; 10-bit colour processing (to eliminate contouring); and advanced scaling. It also offers advanced colour and brightness calibration across the entire videowall.

It also boasts: wide viewing angle (178º); unlimited signal looping, with no signal loss across the entire videowall; quick signal switching; resistance to burn-in effect; thermal protection for an extended lifespan; quiet operation thanks to fanless cooling; and IP5X dust-proofing.

The slim, lightweight 1920 x 1080 panel has a typical brightness of 700cd/sqm, response time of 8ms, and contrast ratio
of 3500:1.

The LCD display wall is being shown with a Digicom HC3000 modular, highly redundant, 8RU hardware-based videowall processor, with intelligent system management and hot-swappable modules for 24/7 use, which can drive up to 36 display units.
