TTL Network’s new cable copes with rising data centre demands

TTL Network has announced the introduction of 2000MHz TTLan Cat.8 S/FTP Patch Cable, in order to help end-users cope with the requirements of modern backbone networks and data centres

In order to help end-users cope with the requirements of modern backbone networks and data centres – as well as the increasing demands generated by reliance on mobile devices – TTL Network has announced the introduction of 2000MHz TTLan Cat.8 S/FTP Patch Cable.

Intended to address escalating data requirements, the recently-created Category 8 cable type offers Ethernet variants 25GBASE-T / 40GBASE-T and transmission rates of 25Gbps and 40Gbps at a maximum frequency of 2000MHz, over a maximum transmission distance of 30m.

New from TTL Network, the standard-compliant 2000MHz Cat.8 S/FTP Patch Cable delivers a four-fold bandwidth increase on Category 6A. Each patch cable is tested on completion with a Fluke DSX-8000 Channel Link. The test protocol is attached to the patch cable.

Other features include industry-standard RJ45 Cat.8 connectors with 50μ gold-plated contact surfaces, as well as latch protection and halogen-free cable jackets.

The following lengths are available from stock: 0.5m, 1m, 2m, 3m, 5m, 7.5m, 10m, 15m, 20m, and 25m.

Stand: 7-C185
