One of the highlights of ISE 2014’s Residential Solutions Theatre programme will be a presentation underlining the main points of CEDIA’s 2013 market-research reports on both sides of the Atlantic. At 16:00 on Tuesday 4 February and again at 14:00 on Wednesday 5, Erica Shonkwiler (pictured), CEDIA’s Senior Director of Research, will take to the Theatre stage on Stand 7-W180 to take ISE attendees through the key points of the association’s latest market findings.
Using clear graphics and an easy-to-understand approach, Shonkwiler will show how CEDIA’s market-research reports, compiled in partnership with Parks Associates, can be used to quantify, segment, characterise and forecast the residential electronic systems markets today and in the future.
Among the topics to be discussed will be levels of business strength and optimism in the residential systems community, how typical project size and type are evolving over time, and which areas of new technology – including IT networks, security systems, energy maanagement and building automation – the market sees as being key to its future success.
While CEDIA’s latest North American-market findings were unveiled at the Denver Expo last September, the ISE presentations will be the first occasion on which European market research is added to the mix, giving ISE 2014 attendees a unique opportunity to get a truly international perspetive on the present and future trends they will need to know for their strategic business planning.
Like all of ISE’s show-floor Theatre sessions, Shonkwiler’s presentations are free to attend. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to be sure of a seat.
