Jones designs launches designFlow at ISE 2015

Ask almost any integrator, and they’ll tell you there just aren’t enough hours in the day. It’s in response to that problem that Jones designs is exhibiting for the first time at ISE this year. The company was created by Keith Jones to help integrators to become more productive by ‘taking over’ from them at the point where initial interest from a prospect has been confirmed.

“Our clients say the most important thing we do is save them time, so they are out selling the next job, not worrying about how to install the one they just sold,” said Jones (pictured). “We can take on all the design requirements for any sized smart home or home cinema project, from initial proposal, through to project handover documentation.”

The company has been in business for five years, with both people and revenues growing over that time.

“One of the hardest things for us, though, is to gain the installers’ trust that we are actually able to do this – perhaps more successfully than they can do it themselves,” continued Jones. “They just don’t believe it’s possible until they take the plunge and then realise what a great idea this is and how much time and effort it saves.”

Jones designs can ‘hand back’ the project to the integrator at any time. Its services – collectively known as designFlow, which it is launching at ISE 2015 – start with proposal creation and enhancement, the provision of 3D visualisations and the writing of a detailed specification, through to generating wiring plans, cable schedules and elevations, and providing schematics such that all members of the installation team are on the same page. The company is, however, more than happy to undertake the complete installation and hand over to the end user.
