Receiving its debut at ISE 2017 is the wePresent WiCS-2100 wireless collaboration system that allows users – in both corporate and educational environments – to collaborate and give a wireless interactive presentation from their Windows/Mac computer, smartphone or tablet. It features, according to the company, all the interactivity wePresent is known for, plus upgraded features such as faster processor and internal memory, improved audience remote view and enhanced features for content sharing and discussion.
The WiCS-2100 is accompanied by the wePresent Management Suite, a network management software tool to remotely manage and customise all wePresent devices in the network and for performing scheduled firmware updates.
Also on show is the WiPG-2000 wireless presentation system and media streamer. It allows the projection of one device to up to four wePresent displays. The WiPG-2000 acts as a dual band wireless access point, at 2.4GHz and 5GHz, enabling the broadcast of an additional wireless SSID signal on either bandwidth, with full enterprise level encryption.
Other features include the ability to stream video files to the wePresent unit at full 1080p resolution with no latency; support for on-screen annotation; and the ability to play any document, image, audio or video file directly from a USB device.
