Speakers and subs offering power and precision

A white installation version of the HDL 10-A active line array is the leader of a number of enhancements to RCF’s speaker line at ISE 2015.

RCF said it has created the HDL 10-A in an ultra-compact size, with no-compromise transducers and a unique composite cabinet design. The company claimed these attributes made the HDL 10-A ideal for when line array performance and a fast and easy set up are a must.

The system is powered from a 1,400W Peak power two-way digital amplifier, while the sound is controlled by a powerful DSP with selectable presets. Also on display are examples from the HL Stadium series produced by the company. The new medium- to long-throw HL series for stadium and arena use combine the properties of a genuine horn-loaded, constant or variable curvature array, while meeting specifications for high vocal intelligibility.

Also on show, the Acustica P Series is offered in efficient coaxial designs offering high-quality music and speech intelligibility, according to RCF.

The series is comprised of compact lightweight weatherproof speakers offering protection up to the highest rating standard, said RCF. The P Series feature precision neodymium coaxial transducers, including a 10in version for the P2110 and 2 x 15in devices for the P3115 and P6215.

They can be fed with 100V line RCF Flexa series amplifiers and are volume-adjustable depending on weather conditions and the required area of coverage.
