With a mission to break down silos and initiate collaboration, the inaugural Spark event at ISE 2026, powered by Samsung, will unite leaders in broadcast, media & entertainment, live events, gaming and design. It will serve as a hub for creative professionals, technologists, and decision-makers to connect, share ideas, and explore the future of creativity.
Blending thought-leadership sessions, hands-on labs, immersive environments, and networking opportunities, Spark is a four-day showcase event designed to inspire creative talent, offering a playground to experiment with new tools, exchange perspectives, and experience creativity in action.
Structured around four high-impact tracks – Broadcast, Live Events, Gaming, and Marketing & Design – Spark fosters real-time collaboration between creatives and technologists, encouraging cross-learning across all sectors.
The main Spark stage will be surrounded by activations from Spark exhibitors, including headline sponsor Samsung. 3Cat, Catalonia’s leading public audiovisual media corporation, will present an immersive interactive experience inspired by its new video game Manairons. Rooted in Catalan folklore, the game features, and is named after, mythical Pyrenean creatures. Visitors will step into a three-screen cube to explore the world of Manairons through gesture-based interaction, and will also be able to play a demo outside the cube.
Also exhibiting is Lab of Tomorrow, an initiative by the Tomorrowland festival. At the heart of its presence is Floating Sky, a project that demonstrates how sound, imagery, lighting technology, and operational excellence converge into a next-level live entertainment experience.
According to Lab of Tomorrow, “From concept to realisation, Floating Sky reflects the power of collaboration across creative, technical, and operational disciplines.”
Samsung’s activation will utilise its IVC Series Virtual Production Indoor LED Signage, designed for cutting-edge virtual production environments, delivering ultra-fine 1.68mm pixel pitch and exceptional colour accuracy to create lifelike, immersive visuals for film, broadcast, and XR stages. “At Spark, we’ll showcase how the IVC Series transforms production workflows – offering unmatched flexibility, precision, and reliability for studios looking to elevate their content creation,” said a Samsung spokesperson.
“Spark connects the brightest minds in creativity and technology to push beyond, stimulate new ideas, and redefine what’s possible,” commented Mike Blackman, managing director of Integrated Systems Events. “With boundaries between creative disciplines fading, Spark highlights how broadcast is merging with gaming, and design integrates with live events, offering a firsthand look at the future of cross-industry collaboration. By combining the seamless connectivity of creative technology with the immersive energy of live events, Spark is more than a showcase, it’s a blueprint for the future of creative innovation.”
