At ISE 2016, SMART Technologies is talking about its digital capture board, SMART kapp, and Smart kapp iQ , a UHD display that enables students to contribute to on-screen content directly from their mobile devices, in real time, from any location. Smart is showcasing the complete Smart kapp family for the first time in Europe.
The SMART kapp system includes photo capture features; with a touch of the camera icon button, users can capture the progression of a brainstorm or a process during their Smart board session. Clear, bright, white and readable, the content is easy to share. Users don’t have to be in the same meeting room, but can connect to a session wherever they are via their laptop, mobile device, or tablet. With SMART kapp iQ, they can also contribute to a session.
With the latest version of the free Smart kapp app, users can now share with up to 35 remote participants at a time and can use a persistent URL for meetings. With the paid app, users can also now pick up a session where they left off.
Tobias Windbrake, head of international business development, commented: “Every organisation that has knowledge workers who collaborate in-room or remotely, can greatly benefit from this type of collaborative technology. Many organisations have achieved a measurable ROI within just a few months of their investments.“
