Smart art for hidden displays

Stealth CoverArt is being presented for the first time to the European custom installation sector at ISE 2015. Stealth CoverArt automatically hides nearly any TV screen with a framed photograph or work of art, offering installers a discreet and stylish way of hiding obtrusive screens when not in use to complement any interior décor.

The system is a bespoke offering, custom made for almost every size and type of screen up to 120in wide, says the company. The image is printed on design-quality canvas surrounded by a choice of low-profile wood moulding in over a dozen frame styles and colours.

It can be customised with any high-quality photograph, or with a choice from numerous images in the Stealth CoverArt online gallery.

When the display is turned on, the Stealth CoverArt canvas is triggered to rise automatically and reveal the total display screen without any obstruction. When the display is turned off, the canvas automatically and silently lowers to conceal the screen.

The main structure of the Stealth CoverArt frame is built from aluminium, so the entire assembly is very light for its size. The frame is custom made slightly larger than the outside dimensions of the display and is designed to quickly fit over and attach to the bezel of virtually any flatscreen display.

Each Stealth CoverArt unit includes a printed image on graphic arts grade canvas, decorative wood moulding, motor and fitting hardware and a remote control.
