A new conferencing solution is being introduced in the shape of the SL Boundary 114-S DW microphone.
Sennheiser claims the SL Boundary 114-S DW brings more flexibility to the company’s SpeechLine family of speech-dedicated mics. It offers particularly wide coverage to ensure that conference participants don’t need to speak directly into or sit close to the microphone as it automatically picks up and enhances the voices of speakers’ in the room.
The 114-S DW is a fully wireless unit that offers easier room set-up and cable-free charging, says the company, and can be charged with Sennheiser’s recently launched CHG QI 2 wireless charging solution.
Using the wireless Qi Charging standard this provides wireless charging for two mobile devices simultaneously. The SL Boundary 114-S DW can also be charged via USB.
The microphone provides clear battery life indication via dedicated battery status LEDs, while easy set-up and detailed monitoring and control is possible with Sennheiser’s Control Cockpit software suite.
