Creating a sustainable approach to high-performance AV

The non-profit SDVoE Alliance will be showing how high-performance AV can be done sustainably at ISE.

Justin Kennington, president of the SDVoE Alliance, said: “The SDVoE Alliance is built for today’s market needs. As the only AV-over-IP ecosystem with ASIC- and FPGA-based devices, we can deliver flexibility while also minimising the environmental impact of a customer’s AV system.

“The interoperability of SDVoE gives consultants, designers, integrators, and even end users the confidence to know that products will be available when they are needed,” despite current supply chain disruptions and chip shortages.

The SDVoE catalogue of products offers a mix of FPGA-based and ASIC-based endpoints, allowing designers to optimise flexibility as well as cost and power consumption. All SDVoE endpoints, regardless of chipset, interoperate seamlessly with one another. In total, SDVoE’s members provide more than 700 products that can be flexibly integrated to create a reliable, sustainable system.
