Unified communications are being elevated by a cloud recording service from StarLeaf that provides a simple way to capture and share video conferences.
StarLeaf Encore is StarLeaf’s new cloud recording service. As a new addition to the StarLeaf Conferencing services portfolio, Encore is available to all existing and new customers that need to record, save and share conferences.
Now, recording as a service is available on a per-licence basis, so there is no need for hardware or a lengthy set up. Once Encore is activated for a customer, all meeting hosts can select ‘record’ when scheduling a meeting. The service is available to all StarLeaf customers, including those who have Cisco, Polycom or Lifesize endpoints registered to the StarLeaf Cloud.
Customers also benefit from a tightly integrated environment that allows recording to be initiated, interrupted and resumed directly from the StarLeaf touchscreen controller, all while the meeting takes place.
“For video users the world over recording meetings has moved away from the category of ‘nice to have’, to become an essential component of their collaboration toolkit and a way to preserve corporate memory,” said Mark Loney, StarLeaf CEO.
StarLeaf Encore is designed for capturing and sharing training sessions, HR meetings, product demonstrations, corporate news and more.
