Beckhoff will be demonstrating how open automation creates new possibilities in AV and media technology. It is not just focusing on its own audio and video system integration, but also its automation partnerships.
A prime example of this is its co-operation with AV Stumpfl and the Pixera system. This gives system integrators the option of easily integrating the components of open PC- and EtherCAT-based control technology from Beckhoff into a Pixera system. This is made possible by Pixera control, a new software-based integration and control framework. The co-ordinated hardware packages can now be interconnected using a convenient plug-and-control function.
Beckhoff also has other new products for media and entertainment, such as its DIN rail-mountable embedded CX5600 Series PCs with AMD Ryzen processors, which boast low power consumption and fanless operation. Also new is the EL2564 digital output terminal which allows cost-effective control of LEDs with an integrated series resistor via an adjustable (ground-switching) PWM signal.
