The new Model P200 surround sound processor from Steinway Lyngdorf supports all the leading immersive surround sound technologies: Dolby Atmos, Auro-3D, and the recently-announced DTS:X.
Each of these three technologies, when integrated with the Model P200, can deliver a cinema-like listening experience with fully immersive audio.
The P200 also supports 4K and 3D video, HDCP 2.2, advanced HDMI switching, video tiling, and a digital interface for use with Integrated Media Block. Built in is the company’s RoomPerfect room correction system, claimed to be “the world’s most sophisticated technology for adapting the sound system to the environment”, and to guarantee optimum performance “whether a room was purposely designed for sound reproduction or not”.
Steinway Lyngdorf is a partnership between Steinway & Sons and Lyngdorf Audio, and is also introducing new Steinway Lyngdorf rear-firing boundary woofers, its new A2 amplifier (part of an In-Wall Series home theatre system), and Lyngdorf Audio’s new TDAI-2170 integrated stereo amplifier.
