The latest launch from Opus Technologies – a French manufacturer with many years of experience in developing magnetic induction loop amplifier technology for people with hearing loss – is the new Opus Smart Loop modelling software.
Each loop layout is unique and must satisfy the IEC60118-4 standard for consistent listening. In any new project there are multiple and complex factors which need to be addressed, including room size, interference, privacy, and presence of metal elements.
According to a spokesperson for Opus Technologies, the company’s years of research and expertise in the field of hearing accessibility have now yielded “a unique and powerful tool for the creation of complex modelling to provide accurate technical studies for each project”.
Opus Smart Loop is accessible from the Opus Technologies website and will enable partners to carry out their own studies and, as a result, define precisely which pieces of equipment are required for each new project.
