‘Next generation’ of Crystal LED display’s and projectors on show from Sony

Returning once again to ISE, Sony is demonstrating what it describes as the next-generation solutions that will improve collaboration and communication between students, customers and colleagues.

For the first time, Sony is showcasing what it describes as a unique technology demonstration of 4K content sharing over IP.

The new laser projector range, including Sony’s highest brightness projector for corporate and education markets (12,000 lumens) to date, is also present on the stand. It is being shown in action in the lecture theatre while being operated through Sony’s interactive presentation and active learning solution, Vision Exchange.

Also on show is its latest spatial audio array technology, Sonic Surf VR, which the company says will allow people to dive into a ‘virtual sea of sounds’ or visit a virtual museum.

Taking centre-stage on the stand is Sony’s large screen, bezel-free Crystal LED display system. It delivers 8K x 2K resolution and is designed for deployment within a range of industries. To facilitate the use of Crystal LED, Sony is introducing the ZRCT-200, a new controller which supports both ST 2084 and S-Log4 HDR images.
