New large-venue projector

A new large-venue projector, the DU9000, is taking centre stage on the Vivitek stand. Offering WUXGA resolution and 12,000 centre lumens (11,000 ANSI lumens) of brightness and a range of lens options that make it suitable for the installation market, the DU9000 is designed for auditoria, religious institutions and other large-venue applications.

Beside the large-venue focus, Vivitek is demonstrating what it claims is the world’s first Full HD ultra-short-throw projector with interactive finger touch control, the Vivitek DH758USTIR, along with NovoConnect, Vivitek’s wireless collaboration solution.

Holger Graeff, general manager, Vivitek EMEA, is delighted to be introducing such a strong line-up of products at the 2015 show.

“ISE is a great opportunity to launch products for the systems integration market,” he said, “and for the upcoming show we have a really strong line-up of new products to offer the integrator, with all the benefits of our Delta manufacturing heritage combined with the innovation and quality for which Vivitek is renowned.

I’m particularly excited about the DU9000 which is the new flagship model in our large-venue range. I think visitors are going to be blown away by its performance and versatility.”

The new model also offers built-in edge blending and dual lamp technology.

What sets the model apart, according to Vivitek, is its combination of high brightness and image quality. Vivitek says it has designed the product without compromise in video processing, scaling and materials used to build the projector.

HDBaseT support allows for digital image and control signals to be sent up to 100m over a single network cable, making installations cost-efficient and easy, the company says. Vivitek is showing three DU9000s blended onto a seven metre curved screen.
