New NetLinx NX Series controllers from AMX are on show. Designed to support the increasing number of IP-controlled AV products being managed across corporate networks, the next generation NX controllers include IPv6 and 802.1x security support for connection to the enterprise network, as well as dual NIC functionality to completely isolate IP-controlled AV devices.
These features not only enhance security, but substantially reduce the number of IP addresses required for AV technology implementations.
NX Series controllers are said to use half the power of the previous generation and all models have been designed to fit into a 1RU equipment rack space for increased efficiency and implementation flexibility.
The NX Series has been designed for full backwards compatibility and adds diagnostic capabilities to ensure proper cabling implementation and to simplify integration.
