NEO PA system scales up

The NEO-Extension unit is being presented to the market at ISE, expanding the public address and voice alarm system’s portfolio of LDA Audio Tech.

The Spanish manufacturer says the LDA NEO is a feature-rich EN 54-16 certified system (2426-CPR-076) that offers an all-in-one cost-effective PA/VA solution in a compact unit.

It includes eight class D amplifiers in a configuration of 8 x 60Wrms or 4 x 120Wrms, an audio matrix, five audio inputs, line-supervision and back-up amplification.

Among other features are an event configurator and audio over Ethernet capability.

With the launch of the NEO-Extension unit, the company says the NEO system can be easily scaled up to 1024 zones. NEO-Extension units can be connected to NEO using UTP cables in a daisy-chain configuration.

Different NEO-Extension models are being introduced for the first time during ISE 2016, the NEO-Extension 8120 with eight 120Wrms class D amplifiers and the NEO-Extension 4250, configurable to 4 x 250Wrms or 2 x 500Wrms.

Demos of the NEO and NEO-Extension, along with other products and developments of LDA Audio can be found on their stand in Hall 7.
