The introduction of the Ovation E-910FC, a new five-colour RGBA+Lime LED ellipsoidal, expands the Ovation Series of professional lighting.
Powered by 91 x 3W RGBAL LEDs, the Ovation E-190FC produces a flat, even field of light for colour mixing and an output rivalling that of an incandescent fixture, claims Chauvet, offering 1,894 lux at 5m with a 26° lens.
It also features a Virtual Colour Wheel with 31 colours that match popular gel colours when projected by a tungsten fixture, as well as nine colour temperature presets from 2800K to 6500K, with high CRI that create whites identical to a tungsten source.
Along with its brightness and colour rendering capabilities, the Ovation E-910FC offers a full complement of control options that Chauvet says makes it well suited to many commercial applications.
Users can choose from a wide range of DMX personalities (5, 7, 10, 12, 13 or 15 channels) to achieve flexible control, such as ultra-smooth 16-bit dimming of individual colours in addition to master dimming.
The ellipsoidal also provides selectable dimming curves, remote device management for added flexibility, and adjustable pulse width modulation to avoid flickering on camera.
Another feature on the Ovation E-910FC are new HD lenses that deliver gobo projection and are compatible with existing industry standard lenses.
