Mixing flexibility and compact form

At ISE 2017, Yamaha is showing the compact TF-RACK rackmount mixer, which is designed for projects where flexibility is needed but space is limited. Said to be ideal for integration with systems based on Yamaha Commercial Installation Solutions (CIS) products, TF-RACK has been created to offer increased versatility.

Housed in a 3U high, 19in rack casing, TF-RACK is a space-saving, all-in-one 16+1 stereo in, 16 out digital mixer featuring the ease of setup and operation provided by Yamaha’s intuitive TouchFlow Operation.

With 40 input mixing channels, 20 Aux buses, eight DCA groups with Roll-Out and a comprehensive range of I/O connections on its rear panel, TF-RACK is said to be a highly flexible mixing solution. Small enough to be deployed in the most constricted area, it has enough capacity to satisfy a wide range of applications.

TF-RACK features the same touchscreen and hardware Touch & Turn control as the TF1, TF3 and TF5 consoles, with 1-knob Comp, 1-knob EQ and other more advanced facilities from other Yamaha digital mixers making it possible to achieve a polished sound with minimum effort in the shortest possible time.

QuickPro Presets for specific musical instruments and microphones have been designed by respected engineers and manufacturers to provide quick, easy access to effective settings, while set-ups for any situation can be instantly loaded via a simple scene recall. A number of preset scenes are provided to give new users a head start, with dual scene memory banks making it easy to organise scenes by installation requirements or event type.
