Making the switch to programmable control

Electromechanical component specialist RJS Electronics will be showing its latest anti-vandal, programmable and customised switches.

Its new RJS1N1LP low profile switches have a shorter body than standard at 14.3mm from face to rear of the tabs. These are ideal for designs with less space behind the panel. Key features include micro travel and options of single, bi-colour and RGB LED illumination. RJS1N1LP switches are available in sizes 12mm to 30mm.

The RJSX07 high current switches come in sizes 16mm to 25mm in 1NO or 2NO configuration (22mm and 25mm). They are IP67 rated (at the front) and available with LED illumination (ring or power symbol) or non-illuminated. They boast a long mechanical life with a high resistive load and are compact and cost-efficient, according to the company.

RJS has added a Raspberry pi python library for its RJS-SDE (rotary pushbutton switch with integrated LCD) programmable switches and an Arduino library for the SLC (OLED push button). The RJS-SDE is a multi-purpose component 3-in-1 switch combining, full colour TFT LCD, rotary encoder and pushbutton, while the small RJS-SLC is its latest programmable switch.
