On GP Acoustics’ stand, a number of new speakers have been added to the KEF C range of installation speakers. At the very top end, the company is previewing the very new C5 160REF-THX installation speaker system, that is the first to be based on KEF’s REF series.
“For the first time we are introducing an installation speaker using the original Uni-Q from our reference series,” said Frank Eschholz, GP Acoustics’ senior product specialist.
The speaker is THX certified, which is something that KEF is undertaking for a number of its high-end speakers. The plan is to have C5 160REF-THX available in the middle of this year with pricing of around $10,500.
