ISE Daily: Highlights of ISE 2022

The Fira Montjuïc, Plaça d’Espanya was the stunning canvas for the I RISE projection mapping event, which took place every evening of ISE 2022

Integrated Systems Europe returned with a bang last week, as the AV world descended on Barcelona for the first full scale, in-person ISE show for 27 months.

The Fira Barcelona, Gran Via proved to be the perfect new home, easily accommodating the hundreds of exhibitors (834) who came to showcase their latest technologies and solutions for tens of thousands of attendees (43,691). And with potentially three extra halls to come into use for the 2023 event (Halls 1, 4, and 8), it’s clear to see how ISE can continue to grow in the years ahead.

ISE 2022 will rightly be viewed as a success, with the show floor vibrant and energetic and exhibitors and attendees alike enjoying the cut and thrust of face to face interaction and full of optimism for the industry’s continuing recovery from the challenges of the pandemic.

Indeed, the themes of hope, regeneration and industry renewal were central to this year’s event, reflected in the I RISE immersive projection mapping event (pictured) which took place throughout the week of the show.

The ISE Daily team had the enormous privilege of covering the latest releases, news, and perspectives from the show floor, as well as reporting on a wide ranging thought leadership programme which provided insight and analysis on a number of key areas for the pro AV market, including the recovery of the live events sector, equity and inclusion in the AV marketplace, and the intriguing potential of the metaverse.

Here are some of the highlights from ISE Daily‘s coverage of the 2022 event.
