ISE app’s role in Covid safety measures

For the safety and comfort of all attendees and exhibitors, ISE 2022 will implement a number of Covid-safety measures, including ticketless entry via the new ISE app, which will be available from 17 January.

Anyone who wants to enter Fira Gran Via during ISE 2022 must register for the show and have a validated badge on the ISE 2022 app. In order to get your badge validated, you will need to upload one of the following to the app:

  • Proof of vaccination against Covid-19
  • Proof of recovery from Covid-19, or
  • Proof of a negative PCR or rapid antigen test

A negative test is only valid for the day of the negative test and the day after. Once this has expired, proof of a new negative PCR or rapid antigen test must be uploaded. Once uploaded, these documents will be validated by ISE’s medical partner Quiron Salut Prevención.

There will be no on-site Covid testing during ISE, but all hotels booked via bnetwork, the official hotel and travel partner of ISE, will offer testing options on request. This will either involve booking an appointment at a nearby testing facility or arranging for testing staff to come to the hotel.

Other measures in place during the show will include the wearing of face masks in indoor spaces; hand sanitiser available throughout the show; social distancing of 1.5m where possible; and the use of protective screens in temporary structures.
