ISE 2022 is a show of firsts

Whether you’re a regular ISE attendee or visiting for the first time, you’ll find plenty to discover at ISE 2022; with new conferences, more show floor features than ever and numerous first-time exhibitors from across the AV landscape. You can register for ISE 2022 here

The first Superyacht Technology Summit takes place on the morning of Thursday 12 May. Not only will it welcome thought leaders and industry specialists, it will also host hands on demos and tech talks, advise on how the integration process works and consider what the future holds for the sector.

Derek Munro, moderator at the conference and Director at Divergent Yachting, says: “The combination of the Superyacht Technology Summit with ISE 2022 is perfect. We are great for each other. The key players in the superyacht industry will get massive exposure to ISE clients and ISE clients will get massive exposure to key players in the superyacht industry, who by the nature of the owners are ultra-high net worth individuals with not only yachts, but commercial and residential properties.”

Taking place as a standalone event for the first time, the Smart Workplace Summit will explore the innovations impacting the workplace. Speakers from Cisco, Siemens, Zoom, Google and Microsoft will debate topics such as collaboration, hybrid workspaces and the video economy, as well as how to navigate the post-pandemic smart workplace. The summit takes place on the afternoon of Tuesday 10 May.

Elsewhere on the show floor there are numerous new features designed to enhance your visit, create connections, and educate and inform.

Hall 6 will host a trio of features based around digital signage and retail. The Retail Showcase will enable visitors to get hands-on with state-of-the-art digital signage solutions in real-world scenarios. It will feature a number of experience points utilising technology to add value to any retail environment, while mock-ups of fashion and grocery stores will feature best-in-class digital signage solutions, sensors and retail analytics devices.

In addition, the Retail Stage will host sessions exploring this fast-moving sector from 10-12 May. Finally, the Digital Signage Boulevard will bring together and present a selection of the world’s leading digital signage and DooH technologies across multiple applications.

New for 2022 is the Live Events Arena in Hall 7. Here visitors can experience the full potential of new products, listen to presentations and network with live events professionals. Throughout each day on the Live Events Arena stage, exciting fifteen-minute product demonstrations will provide a detailed understanding of the latest solutions.

Also making its debut in Barcelona is the ISE Sound Xperience. Consisting of a series of uniquely configured audio spaces based at the Eventos Filmax Cinema Gran Via complex a few hundred metres away from Hall 5, the Sound Xperience will enable leading audio companies to present a realistic representation of their latest technologies in purpose-designed spaces.

If that leaves you in need of a recharge, stop by one of the new lounges located throughout the show. In Hall 7 you’ll find the Women in Live Music Lounge, designed to be a welcoming space for female attendees and somewhere for everyone to find out more about the industry from a woman’s perspective. And in the Influencer Lounge in Hall 2, content creators, leading social media trendsetters and commentators can create and show off their exciting show-related content.

Among the more than 800 exhibitors, there’ll also be many making their ISE debut, covering the whole gamut of AV solutions, from commercial and residential audio to collaboration tools, displays, lighting solutions and sensors.

99sensors, which specialises in sensors, micro controllers and digital signage, will be presenting its DOOHCLOUD and DOOHBOXX solutions – described as “a complete solution to manage your DOOH networks or any other digital screen network as in architecture or corporate communication”.

Italian home automation company App Tech creates intelligent, innovative solutions with advanced functions and intuitive functionality.

On show by Artnovion is Siena, an expansive series of high-concept acoustic panels. Made from sustainable wood and boasting a minimal design, the family is tailored to fit in multiple environments, including home cinemas, living rooms, offices, and even auditoriums.

Audio Gear Group will be showing a host of new products at ISE, including a home office audio speaker and amplifier upgrades as well as home theatre products that deliver CEDIA-reference levels.

DisplayApps will introduce its LEDAdvizor application, LEDeCO2, for LED display energy optimisation. The company claims its technology can save LED display operators up to 40% of the costs associated with running panels.

Guardian Show, a standalone wireless intercom system designed for audiovisual productions and live events will be on the stand of Vokkero, a brand of Vogo. Easy to set up, Guardian Show features three different radio and audio presets – rigging, live and studio – to comply with many use cases from a noisy stage building environment to the quietness of a studio set.
