ISE 2016 Tech Tour: telling the story of DOMunder

The first of a series of Tech Tours at ISE 2016 will be presented from the unique perspective of multi-award-winning experience design and production agency Tinker Imagineers.

Tinker will define the big ideas behind DOMunder, the underground, architectural visitor experience in Domplein, Utrecht. The use of storytelling and creative use of media technology will enable an exclusive group of ISE international visitors to follow in the footsteps of pioneering archaeologists.

DOMunder uses custom-engineered interactive ‘flash-light’ audioguides that trigger several video displays, lighting and information points to discover a hidden past from the Roman era to the Middle Ages. Tinker will present the smart building systems in place throughout the historic underground attraction.

Technology in place at DOMunder includes ISE exhibitors Aten (11-N50, 5-U92), Bose (7-C172), Brightsign (8-K310, 2-A42), Christie Digital coolux (1-H70) and Panasonic (1-H20).

ISE Tech Tour attendees will receive an exclusive sneak preview of head-mounted virtual reality technology to be used at the NEST brand experience, currently under construction in for Nestlé in Vevey, Switzerland. In addition, there will be an in-depth look at creative technology design at the Juliana Children’s Hospital, Boerhaave Museum, Friesland Campina Experience and ALD Automotive.

The ISE Tech Tour to DOMunder will take place in the afternoon of Thursday, 11 February 2016. Transport to and from the Amsterdam RAI is provided. As always, entrance is strictly limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis.
