Lite-Puter introduces PLNET lighting and automation system at ISE

Taiwanese company Lite-Puter will showcase its PLNET lighting and automation system, which applies power line communication (PLC) technology to simplify wiring, reduce installation costs and save on energy consumption.

A PLNET signal can be easily transferred between an AC line and DC line (non-polarised twisted pair). The company says that this doesn’t just simplify wiring, but reduces the installation cost significantly.

Bidirectional communication features enable the PLNET system to monitor status and configure all parameters remotely over a PC. PLNET systems include conventional dimmers, switch actuators, LED dimmable drivers , 0-10V dimmers and other peripheral interfaces.
