Barco’s new IEX series of narrow pixel pitch indoor LED walls is aimed at introducing more dynamic, immersive and collaborative engagement within corporate spaces and other indoor environments such as TV studios and control rooms.
The IEX range comes in four narrow pixel pitch options (1.2, 1.5, 1.8 and 2.5mm), each with 600-nit brightness and contrast >7,000:1 for the 1.2 and 1.5mm models and >5,000:1 for the 1.8 and 2.5mm versions. The 16:9 8kg tiles have horizontal and vertical viewing angles of 160° (+/- 5°).
All four offer simplified installation with a screw-free set up. Reliable performance is supported by cable-free inter-cabinet connectivity with optional power and data redundancy. The IEX series allows full maintenance from both front and rear, which helps users to alleviate issues without significant disruption.
Also making its debut will be the XT-Q, an addition to the current Barco premium XT series offering a very fine pixel pitch of 0.9mm and leveraging IMD (4-in-1) technology, while further improving installation robustness. The high contrast screens (>9,000:1) support HLG, HDR10 and HDR10+ high dynamic range.
