Developed in conjunction with relaxation armchair specialist Variation, exhibitor Oray offers a range of seating designed specifically for home cinema. Designed to be highly modular, allowing the exact desired configuration to be achieved, the chairs can be provided as individual units, ‘love seats’ (for two with no central armrest) and in banks of two, three or four units with armrests.
Operated via remote control, the backrest and leg-rest can be electrically adjusted as can the head-rest. A D-BOX option can be specified which, in effect, replicates on-screen action via motors in the chair to provide a more immersive movie-watching experience.
Among Oray’s range is the Pop home cinema armchair – other ranges are the Zoom, Travelling, Cineclub and Bio – in which the leg-rest and back-rest are not separated such that they move simultaneously. This makes them, says Oray, particularly suitable for small rooms and also reduces the cost, making them more affordable.
The Pop is available in either a motorised or manual version: the former is operated via a controller integrated in the armrest or the Cupholder+ option, while the latter is operated via a discreet lever placed between the seat and the armrest. The headrest is reclinable for maximum comfort, and, optionally, the armrests can be used for storage.
Three leather qualities – Toledo, Tradition or Prestige – cover a broad range of colours, with Bison and Romeo fabrics also available.
