Hall-in-one for conferencing and collaboration

Mercury rising: The Mercury all-in-one meeting collaboration tool

Mercury, an all-in-one conferencing and collaboration tool, and Ranger, a 4K multiview presentation switcher that can simplify collaboration, are both new from Hall Technologies and are being showcased at ISE 2023.

The Mercury video bar offers an ultra-wide angle 4K AI camera, microphone and speaker that enables wireless screen presentation, with camera auto tracking, speaker tracking and presenter tracking, for better meeting inclusivity. It includes a built-in WiFi module and offers multiple connection options, including AirPlay, Miracast, Smart View, HT-Voyager and physical HDMI and USB-C ports.

According to Ken Eagle, VP of technology at Hall Technologies, Mercury is a “smart videoconferencing companion”.

“It’s compatible with both OS and UC applications [and is] unique in that it can track and capture meeting attendees when they are presenting,” added Eagle.

It uses acoustic echo cancellation, automatic gain control, and automatic noise suppression, with full duplex mode communication “to make all participants feel like they are in the same room”.

Ranger is compatible with Apple and Android devices for content casting, and pairs with Hall’s USB-C dongle, Voyager, to allow wireless communication from a laptop.

“With Ranger you can BYOD and cast without any software, or you can connect with HDMI or USB-C inputs for a fluid collaborative experience,” said Eagle.
