Guntermann & Drunck making KVM work with AV over IP

Guntermann & Drunck is aiming to inspire stand visitors by presenting its new KVM matrix for KVM-over-IP for the first time at ISE.

German KVM manufacturer Guntermann & Drunck is aiming to inspire stand visitors by presenting its new KVM matrix for KVM-over-IP for the first time at ISE.

G&D stand visitors have the opportunity to broaden their knowledge about KVM and discover how KVM can help them make their IT installations even more efficient, says the company. They can also experience how G&D KVM matrix systems work seamlessly with typical AV equipment such as media controls and controllers to ensure a homogeneous system and best possible interoperability. Together with a series of IP extenders, the ControlCenter-IP forms a powerful matrix with which any connected operator station can be granted access to any remote computer. Thus, operators benefit from the full performance of their computers even when operating them remotely, yet still in real time. While the network infrastructure takes over the transport of KVM-over-IP using network switches and routers, the ControlCenter-IP contributes the logic.

Visitors can also look forward to the demonstration of an 8K extender system. The DP1.2-VisionXG system is a powerful KVM extender to extend high-resolution 4K and 8K video signals at 60 Hz – uncompressed and without any loss and latency-free. The extender system transmits 8K resolution up to 10,000m via fibre optic.
