Getting Personal with Workplace control

In control: G&D’s PersonalWorkplace-Controller offers users easy personalisation

The PersonalWorkplace-Controller offers both greater flexibility and easier usability, according to Guntermann & Drunck, allowing users to display, arrange and operate multiple sources on one monitor. The company says it combines the best of multiviewing and KVM on a workstation that each user can individually configure. They can operate it with just one mouse and keyboard, significantly improving workplace ergonomics and efficiency.

Instead of having to monitor each process on a separate display, operators can set up their workspaces including different sources as required. Users also have simultaneous integrated and flexible access to all the data they need. Displaying multiple sources in real time and providing latency-free operation of multiple computers from a single console facilitates work processes immensely.

Depending on the application, the multiviewing tool can display and operate up to 26 video sources on a single monitor, so users benefit from a very flexible layout with high image quality (up to 4K60).

G&D offers three variants: Basic KVM – up to seven sources; Pro KVM – up to 14 sources controlled by up to four operators; and Pro Video, which can be used as a video wall manager to display up to 26 physical video inputs on one or multiple monitors.
