Optical cable specialist FiberSmith is showcasing its latest AV connection solutions in hall 15.
The new detachable HDMI 2.0 connector is designed for installation in narrow and curved spaces and comes with a small HDMI type D-head. Various types of detachable connectors – including HDMI type A, DisplayPort, DVI, and HDMI type A with equaliser – can be used with the product, which is able to transmit 4K60Hz (4:4:4) UHD images up to 100m.
FiberSmith is also demonstrating SAVE, an on-site termination solution that enables it to upgrade, reuse or make active optical cables on site.
