Canon is showcasing how extended reality (XR) production – the use of LED walls as a backdrop – is not only changing the game for filmmakers, but also for corporate and live event productions.
The company is partnering with INFiLED to demonstrate how its cameras can interact with a high-resolution LED wall for “true-to-life results”, to address what it sees as growing demand across industries for higher quality and more efficient production set-ups.
Canon’s PTZ cameras come with FreeD protocol built-in, which enables them to work with virtual scenes such as those rendered by Unreal Engine.
