Presented by industry experts from across the globe, CEDIA’s education sessions cover a wide range of topics designed to help home technology professionals at every level expand their skillset. Individual classes are also available at à la carte prices and are eligible for an early bird discount. AVIXA is delivering a focused and engaging programme for, with more than 50 sessions led by professionals from a multitude of AV backgrounds which will provide ISE delegates with the opportunity to stay up-to-date with the industry’s prevalent trends, and leave the show feeling motivated and full of ideas.
Focusing on changing expectations within the industry, AVIXA is using four distinct tracks – User Experience, Design, AV/IT and Emerging Trends – to make it easy to choose the sessions that are most relevant. The User Experience track, for example, will help you to examine your work through the eyes of your end-user, whilst the Emerging Trends sessions will make sure you’re in the know about what’s new in technology, business and user culture. These four tracks will run alongside partnered Conferences and (free) FlashTrack sessions on stand 13-N110, providing a rich vein of education that has something for everyone.
Highlights of CEDIA’s education includes full-day Advanced Home Cinema Design and Rack-Building workshops, as well as a two-part acoustic treatment training. Areas such as power management, power conditioning, local generation and storage, and POE will be covered, in addition to sessions on using VR for smart home designs, high resolution audio, lighting control, video displays, assisted living, interoperability, and much, much more. Business owners can benefit from insights provided by Leslie Shiner, the renowned U.S. author, speaker, and trainer, whose courses will help shed light on how to grow and maximise profitability for your integration company. Meanwhile, free-to-attend CEDIA Talks will be hosted on the CEDIA booth every day of the show again this year, offering critical insights on hot industry topics.
Visitors to the show can also sit for a CEDIA Certification exam, demonstrating their expertise and commitment to best practices. These exams include CEDIA’s highly respected Electronic Systems Technician (ESC-T), Designer (ESC-D), or Networking Specialist (ESC-N) Certifications.
In addition, the Associations have teamed up to offer one all-encompassing SUPERPASS, giving delegates a chance to attend both AVIXA and CEDIA education sessions at one price (excluding CEDIA full-day training sessions and certification exams). The pass-holder will be able to choose as many sessions that fit into their timetable.
