A major show floor feature in Hall 8.1, the Esports Arena will feature a full programme of professional esports tournaments, expert panel sessions, AV technical showcases and audience gaming sessions. Live content will be broadcast throughout the show on Twitch.

The massive 1000sqm Arena features giant LED screens and raked seating, giving ISE attendees a great view of the gaming action. There will be live commentary in the Arena and on the livestream.
On the first three days of ISE 2025, the live broadcast starts at 10:45, and Arena host, esports specialist and content creator Lara Smirnova, welcomes the in-person and online audiences at 11:00. An AV technical showcase follows at 11:15, highlighting the numerous AV technologies involved in creating the Esports Arena and producing the livestream.
Ninety minutes of exciting professional esports tournament action begin at 11:45, with a different game played each day: FC Pro 2025, MotoGP 2024, Rocket League on Tuesday to Thursday respectively.
The programme resumes at 14:30 with 45-minute panel discussions. Topics featured during the week include The Transformative Power of Esports in the Broadcasting of Sports Events (with speakers including Carles Negreiro, Senior Project Manager, LVP (GRUP MEDIAPRO)), and How Dorna Brought a Virtual Replica of their MotoGP Broadcast to Life.
That’s followed by the conclusion of the day’s esports tournament starting at 16:00 (15:15 on Thursday), after which, at 17:30, audience members get their chance to play the game just featured in the professional competition.
The programme on the last day of the show includes a Spanish-language discussion about how Barcelona has become an esports and gaming hub (with Joan Francesc Bano, CEO, Game BCN among those speaking); a panel about career opportunities in the sector; and opportunities for ISE attendees to play Fall Guys like a pro.
