Epson moves into a new era of installation projection

With the launch of the EB-L1000U series at ISE, Epson says it is moving into a new era of installation projection. The EB-L1500U, EB-L1505U, EB-L1405U, EB-L1300U, EB-L1200U, EB-L1100U all feature laser illumination technology and, according to the company, a range of flexible features for minimal fuss and almost no maintenance. They also come with a 5-year, 2,000-hour warranty. Target markets are corporates, higher education establishments and visitor attractions, as well as rental and digital signage companies.

Aimed at companies needing bright, Full HD images, the EB-L1500U is claimed by Epson to be the world’s first 12,000 lumen WUXGA 3LCD laser projector.

Alongside these new laser models, Epson is exhibiting its new EB-G7000 (EB-G7800, EB-G7200W, EB-G7000W, EB-G7905U, EB-G7900U, EB-G7400U) lamp-based range of corporate and higher education installation projectors, designed for use in office meeting rooms, lecture theatres or large classrooms.

“Both of these new ranges – as well as the upcoming 25,000 lumen product – will help establish Epson as a top player in the installation market,” said Daniel Rose, product manager, Epson Europe. “All models feature our 3LCD technology and 4K enhancement, meaning users will benefit from images with vivid colours, exceptional sharpness and detail. Not only this, but a new range of motorised lenses including optional ultra-short throw (UST) lens, gives the products true 360⁰ installation flexibility, allowing them to be placed virtually anywhere without loss of brightness or distortion of image.”
