Projection mapping will bring Elicium façade to life

Each evening during the week of ISE 2020, a spectacular projection mapping on part of the RAI complex will entertain attendees and passers-by and provide an excellent showcase for many AV technologies

During ISE last year, the exterior of the nhow hotel was transformed into a lively projection canvas, with specially created content mapped to the building’s features. At ISE 2020, the Elicium complex – outside the front of the RAI Amsterdam – will be the location of a new projection mapping extravaganza that will amuse, amaze and intrigue its audience – show attendees and Amsterdam locals alike.

The lower floors of the futuristic nine-storey building will be transformed by the projection, with content mapped to the shape of the front façade.

The spectacle will be produced by ISE and the RAI, working in conjunction with seven event partners. LANG AG, a leading AV rental company and long-time supporter of ISE, will supply the projectors, which will beam content from Green Hippo media servers. White laser mapping from HB Laserkomponenten and illumination from an Ares XS LED Wash from CLF lighting on the upper storeys will give the projected images an extra dimension.

In addition to the compelling visuals there will be a dynamic audio track, brought to the audience’s ears via amplifiers and speakers from Biamp. The content will be created by Tenfeet, a specialist in lighting technology and show production, while Indyvideo will provide containers for the projectors and operators, as well as technical production support.

The projection will start at 17:00 on Monday 10 to Thursday 13 February (16:00 on Friday 14 February), and run until 22:00.
