The Drone Arena is receiving its debut at ISE 2016 situated at the Park Foyer at the back of Hall 8. This exciting exhibition feature will showcase a packed programme of leading drone and unmanned vehicle products, technologies, training sessions and applications. Plus, visitors will get the chance to win a drone on the last day of the exhibition!
The Drone Arena is being produced by ISE in conjunction with pro AV distributor Stampede Global. Stampede has successfully produced similar arenas at the InfoComm and CEDIA exhibitions.
According to Kevin Kelly, Stampede’s president and CEO, “We’re on track for a billion drones to be deployed by 2030 and the fact that the innovation is just starting proves that the sky’s the limit (pun intended) for this category.”
Covering the professional, commercial and consumer sectors The Drone Arena will feature educational sessions and live demonstrations on every day of the show and explore the full range of opportunities available through usage of this innovative technology.
According to Kelly, the impetus behind this new initiative is that drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles are still a relatively new proposition outside the military industry. As the sector develops away from its origins the consensus is that a huge opportunity is knocking on the door of the AV/IT integration industry.
*Visitors to the Drone Arena will have the opportunity to win a drone if they drop off their business card at the Arena from Thursday 11 February. A draw will be made at 13.00 on 12 February. Winners must be present at the draw to receive the prize.
