Nexcom showcases digital signage players

A variety of digital signage players are being showcased at Nexcom’s stand.

The company’s high-performance OPS player brings clearer passenger information to large displays at airports and stations. Powered by 6th generation Intel Core processor i5-6440EQ (codename Skylake), the NDiS M535 delivers personalised, up-to-date information and 4K video. The player is remotely manageable for ease of deployment, monitoring and control.

Intel HD Graphics and HEVC codecs enable triple independent outputs in support of 4K displays with 60Hz refresh rates for a non-flickering airport experience. The player is also pitched at interactive kiosks.

Also at the show is the NDiS B535 fanless digital signage player, aimed at giving retail stores a technology makeover to help increase sales, build customer loyalty and optimise floor design. Running a quad-core Intel Core i7-6700TE or i5-6500TE processor, built-in Intel HD Graphics and support for 32GB of DDR4 2133 memory with its dual socket configuration, this player is capable of parallel, intensive data- and graphic-processing.

It can be used for pushing membership rewards to nearby mobile devices, detecting foot traffic and customer demographics and conducting inventory counts in the background. For in-store promotions, the NDiS B535 supports videogame-like, 4K2K content.

Finally, the NDiS B325 compact 4K media player aims to help budget users effectively communicate with customers. Powered by Intel Celeron Processor N3150 (formerly codenamed Braswell), NDiS B325 combines a compact fanless design and wide operation temperature range and is pitched at long-term, non-stop, semi-outdoor environments such as bus stations or shops.
