Digital guides add to conversation

The new eTour TG-200 and TG-201 digital wireless tour guide systems build on the successful digital TG-100 series, adding optimised features and new technologies to the market.

The new product fundamentally improves signal stability, according to the company, as well as extending the transmitting range, and increasing the number of simultaneous active groups in one single area. The TG-201 digital UHF two-way tour guide system features a two-way duplex communication function that allows receivers to have conversations within the group.

The units offer a choice of elegant navy, warm grey or white finishes. An easy-to-read LCD screen displays channel number (up to around 250 channels are available), volume, two-way status, battery meter and charging condition.

The units offer three-button operation and a two-way activated switch. Specially made microphone accessories accept external multimedia and wireless content transmitted to the receivers.

The built-in 1300mAh Lithium polymer battery provides more than 20 hours of continuous use per charge. Linkx says the use of Li-Polymer rechargeable batteries dramatically reduces the cost of purchasing a disposable battery, whilst significantly reducing the environmental impact through their disposal or recycling.

Normal charging is via micro USB connector, but optional 2/12/35/60/70-slots charging cases and stations are available.

A customised narrow-band model with double the number of available channels – the TG-200N – is available upon request.
