beyerdynamic: Digital conference system launched

Reliable, intuitive, functional: that’s how the new digital, wired conference system Orbis is described by its manufacturer, beyerdynamic.

Orbis consists of several components: table top microphone units, solutions for discreet and individual integration, a central control unit – optionally mountable or free-standing – and an extensive range of accessories.

According to beyerdynamic, high-quality materials and an innovative one-button navigation concept for easy operation make this control unit unique, setting new standards with regard to design and operability.

The system is wired with standard Cat5 cables, and the practical cabling options of the microphone units allow the cables to be connected from below or behind and work as a cable strain relief. Backlit silicon buttons with Braille and a connection for a headphone or an induction loop for hearing assistance follow the UN convention for equality of disabled people.

Thanks to numerous customisation options, beyerdynamic says that the microphone units can be adapted to requirements very simply and thus provide customers with complete freedom with regard to design. The housings are available in various colours and, says the company, there are no limits for the control panels: logos can be integrated, and the colour and material can also be changed.
