Easy videoconferencing for SMEs is the aim of the VC Series from first-time ISE exhibitor Yealink.
It supports immersive four-site Full HD videoconferencing, including1080p content sharing, that is designed specifically for SME use, and aims to provide “a perfect balance among high quality, ease of use and cost efficiency”.
The system includes an 18x optical zoom HD camera, and 360º omnidirectional pickup microphone array, with support for AAC-LC Ultra HD codec and HD level to produce CD quality sound. It uses H.264 High Profile encoding for high-quality video, with support for adaptive bandwidth and dynamic bandwidth adjustment and an 8% resistance packet loss, so that videoconferencing still runs smoothly in changing network conditions.
The VC Series is claimed to offer intuitive operation and deploy in five minutes. It is designed to let users access any functions with the ease of a smartphone, and almost all operations can be carried out in just three simple steps. It also supports an intelligent firewall, which is able to run without any further configuration.
A dual protocol of H.323 and SIP for compatibility with mainstream videoconferencing systems and terminals, is compatible with most IP PBX that support video, and offers interoperability with video phones, tablets, and smartphones.
