Visitors to Hall 2 at ISE will be able to catch demonstration sessions of a high-channel count home cinema featuring the Krix MX-40 loudspeaker. The focus will be on dynamic movie playback and the Australian vendor promises an innovative and unique approach to low frequency reproduction.
The distinctive modular design of the Series MX provides a solid wall that is continuous with the speaker baffles, replicating the same concept seen in a commercial cinema. This stops sound from radiating around the speaker and into the space behind the screen, which causes reflections that then combine with the direct sound from the speaker. According to the company, the result of implementing this baffle is a “smooth, clear and full-bodied sound that feels just like sitting in a cinema”.
Krix will be exhibiting at ISE alongside Trinnov Audio, Sony and Officina Acustica, as well as at its own stand, where team members will be on hand for a chat and to help visitors experience an immersive home cinema demonstration.
