Designed to make conferences, meetings and lectures more engaging and fun, Catchbox’s epnoymous audience microphone is on show at ISE. Eschewing a traditional stick microphone design, Catchbox has a soft outer cover that allows it to be easily passed – or even thrown – from person to person.
No technology or tool is effective if people don’t know how to use it, Catchbox notes, which is why the microphone is designed to be simple to understand and use.
Electronics automatically mute the audio when the device is in the air or being dropped, meaning an audience members simply has talk into the box when it reaches them without having to manually switching it on or off.
By using Catchbox, audience engagement becomes quicker and more playful, increasing the participation and interaction that gives added value to live events, the company says. Branding, event themes or other graphics can be intergrated onto the four sides of the Catchbox using the company’s Custom Cover Service.
