US speaker specialist 1 Sound is launching its Cannon C8 loudspeaker at ISE 2023.
The C8 is a full-range, high-fidelity coaxial loudspeaker that completes the company’s Cannon Series. It utilises an 8in coaxial driver with a 1in high frequency element and has a 7in rear-facing passive radiator tuned to extend bass frequencies.
With a bandwidth of 55Hz-18kHz and a maximum SPL of 120dB, the C8 measures 260x260mm. It has two Speakon connectors and a two-circuit switch allowing for a choice of two mixes with a four-wire cable.
1 Sound says these key build features give the C8 “a hi-fi sound”. It is available in an install version, as well as with custom colours and wood finishes. As with all 1 Sound loudspeakers, the Cannon series is IP55 indoor/outdoor rated and can be used in saltwater environments.
