An ultra-bright 9mm pixel pitch LED panel that can be curved up to 15º in either direction has been introduced by Elation. The EPT9IP incorporates the latest dot correction technology for superior colour and brightness uniformity and delivers 5,000 nits of brightness, more than sufficient for any indoor use and bright enough for virtually any outdoor application.
It is designed primarily for the professional touring and production market, with 4,096 3-in-1 LED pixels per panel (64 x 64). Integrated curving options from -15° to +15° allow designers to create a variety of seamless curved video displays, including convex, concave and even full circle designs, while maintaining pixel pitch and without visible gaps.
It uses a lightweight die-cast aluminium frame, with each IP65-rated panel made up of four easily removable pixel blocks for servicing. A refresh rate of 2000Hz means the screen won’t flicker when broadcast.
Designed for rapid setup and teardown, patented NTR-LoK compression pins (no tools required) make for quick and easy assembly of even the largest LED wall. The EPT9IP offers many other professional-grade features like PowerCon connectors and an auto-sensing, easy-to-remove power supply module.
Also new is the EPT6IP with 6.7mm pixel pitch, which uses SMD 2828 LEDs in a large format 640 x 640mm size, with 5,000 nits of calibrated output, IP65 rating, True1 power and IP-Ethercon data linking, 1,920Hz refresh rate and 14 bit grey scale processing.
