ZeeVee will be showing its new ZyPer4K-XR SDVoE and AVoIP ruggedised encoders and decoders, alongside its recently-introduced, small footprint ZyPer4K-XS, and its upgraded ZyPer Management Platform with the new ZyPerPad keypad controller.
According to Bob Michaels, CEO, ZeeVee, the extended line of ZyPer4K encoders/decoders “address calls from the field for smaller footprint and ruggedised models that address the anticipated needs of event-based applications”.
“These models, along with our enhanced ZyPer Management Platform, will continue to drive the rapid adoption of SDVoE and AVoIP signal distribution solutions for virtually all applications,” he added.
The ZyPer4K-XS and ZyPer4K-XR models can distribute and switch uncompressed 720p, 1080p, UHD and 4K content, audio and control via off-the-shelf 10Gb Ethernet switches. Their IP-based architecture can switch sources without frame loss – even at 4K. They also offer a 1GB utility port and USB support for keyboards, mice, game controllers and alphanumeric displays.
Both models support energy-efficient 10Gb Power over Ethernet, for data and power over an IP network, while fanless thermal management keeps the units from overheating without noise.
